Yes, that would have to be track 12 sync check. The other protection would have gotten you right after the Mindscape credits screen. That's good news though! It means you beat the density protection check. I wasn't sure if that was going to work or not. Did you try changing all of the sync marks in track 12? In a typical dump, they're all uneven. In an emulator, the sequence "AF FF FF FF FF FF" passes successfully, although when I did some calculations on what the drive code does, I came up with a longer sync mark. Only way is to try it. You need ALL of the marks to be the same. If the above mark doesn't work, try inserting another FF byte or two at the end of it. The check routine is lenient to about +/- 5 bits of sync. It's a pain in the neck, I know. Wish there was a G64 editor that allowed you to do tasks like this easily. |
