If I recall, that track should have 42 sync marks (21 sectors on the track, with a sync for each header and data block) and you need to change all of them for that track or the protection will fail when it hits one you haven't fixed up. Watch out for sync marks that wrap around the track end/start in the image. You'll see FF FF FF FF 52 54 at the start of the track, but make sure the last byte of the track isn't sync as well (or the AF byte. So if your track starts with the sync and without the leading AF byte, just insert it. These are pretty much standard DOS sectors, so it shouldn't be much of a problem like some discs where you have 100 sync bytes in a row. |
