Good news, Vice 2.3 fixes the bug in this protection where reading the $55 byte after the data block sync resulted in the byte after it being returned instead. It doesn't require the cycle-exact version either. I'll see if I can modify the sync lengths in the G64 to get the protection to pass. This might not be possible as the timing is very specific with maybe a +/- 2-bit margin for error. |
