Thought about writing a disk image editor that worked on the bit level for D64 and G64 (maybe others if there's interest.) So far, I've written a utility that can bitshift entire tracks on a disk. It can also translate standard GCR both ways and manipulate directories and BAM for standard CBM DOS. I don't know if there are any fully featured utilities out there and this effort might be a bit redundant. But it's a personal exploration into the 1541 and its utilization of magnetic storage that I am mostly interested in. Someone might find it useful :) |
