Nothing to report, still links to sites, with the ambiguous "right cable" to purchase... i suppose this'll be a project for when i get money again... No ideas, any help would be helpful. |

I'm not sure what the problem is... the cabling is on Peter Schepers' site under "Cabling" and there are many GUI solutions if you lack computer knowledge. [link] There is no hand-holding here, you'll need to research the cabling and software and get it working yourself, which will involve some technical ability and troubleshooting. If you aren't willing to do that, then send your disks to someone who does. |

In particular, get any of the cables in the section "Disk Drive Parallel Ports & Cables" on this page: [link] You'll need to pay attention to drive type (e.g., 1541 different from 1541-II), but it's pretty simple. Combined with the ZoomFloppy, it all just works. [link] |

Perfect, those links might help! Hand-holding a don't expect, but we'll see how competent and complete the information is here. (I'm not a mind reader anymore) :/ Thanks, (both of ya) I'll get crackin on that.. |
