I have a 1541 installed into a old windows 98SE tower, and made the XMP connections, I removed the drive mech and board, and installed them into the mid-tower case, removed both regulators on the drive board, and connected the PC's power supply to the board, and I boot up into Windows 98SE, and run the dos version of MNIB, in a window, plus you can F8-boot and pick MS-DOS only, and run MNIB in pure DOS, but I have full network access in WIN98 its a old Pentium 166 works great. |
