I hope to get a simple converter finished and tested this week. The last days I've been digging into details of the KryoFlux stream data. In my code index signal positions have been calculated incorrectly - whenever a multi-byte samples or NOPs occurred the next index signal was off by the amount of bytes not directly representing a sample. Furthermore I'll change the code to work with cell-widths instead of track lengths to determine the speed zone / density used on a track. By the way: Does nibtools detect the track cycle on a bit basis or if e.g. a track has a length of 7600 bytes plus 7 bits will it have problems with the following data being shifted by one bit, i.e. appearing not as a byte-wise duplicate of the beginning? |
