You will not be able to get copies of 'fat track' protected disks to work on a 1571 (or 128D with 1571 built-in). Originals will work fine.

You can't properly write a fat track with any Commodore drive, as it is not able to write the 3 consecutive tracks perfectly-aligned. The middle track will always be erased.

Oddly, some of these protections will pass on a 1541 with the motor slowed to 298 or below.
